Zambia embraces a multiparty democratic system of governance, and has been a success in terms of conducting fair and peaceful elections and in the smooth transfer of power. Poverty and unemployment are some of the challenges Zambia faces, but they are not insurmountable. Zambia is generally on the right path economically and politically.
